Future technology: Ideas about to change our world

Image
Self-driving trucks: We’ve almost got used to the idea of driverless cars before we’ve even seen one on the roads. The truth is, you might well see a lot more  driverless trucks  – after all, logistics make the world go round. They’ll be cheaper to run than regular rigs, driving more smoothly and so using less fuel. Computers never get tired or need comfort breaks, so they’ll run longer routes. And they could drive in convoys, nose-to-tail, to minimise wind resistance. Companies like Mercedes and Peloton are already exploring these possibilities, and if the promised gains materialise, freight companies could upgrade entire fleets overnight. On the downside, it could put drivers instantly out of work, and even staff at the truck stops set up to service them, but many companies have said the trucks will still need a human passenger to ensure their cargo is safe. Knowledge management in successful technology transfer

(Case study: Iranian aerospace industries and knowledge-based centers) Author(s): Abbas Rafiei  (Department of Industrial Engineering, Malek Ashtar University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran.) Abstract: Purpose – The present paper aims to identify factors and variables affecting designing and assimilating technology in knowledge-based centers and aerospace industries, to study their relations and, ultimately, to provide a model based on research data. Design/methodology/approach – Structural equation modeling (SEM) using AMOS software was used to study the relations among latent variables. Initially, the right structure of devised measure is assured and, then, by introducing a concept called “invariance”, it is shown that the devised measure structure in both aerospace industries and knowledge-based centers measures the same traits. Finally, the relations among latent variables in both knowledge-based centers and aerospace industries are studied

Why Is Gym Class Important

Image
Why Is Gym Class Important Physical Exercise: Gym classes provide students with physical exercise on a consistent basis. It is particularly important for the physical well-being of children who do not engage in physical activities outside of school. A good physical education class will feature activities that raise the heart rate, increase the pulse rate and rev up metabolism. According to the American Heart Association, gym classes can help teach children skills that can help them be active their whole lives. The physical exertion also helps the mind, as children will find they are able to think more clearly and are able to focus better in other classes following a physical education period. Coordination and Flexibility: Physical education helps kids strengthen their coordination. A good gym class will provide a variety of activities that increase coordination, such as ball throwing and catching, swinging a bat, aiming a bow and arrow, and maneuvering a racket. Flexi

iPhone X Vs Galaxy S8

iPhone X  Vs Galaxy S8 2017 is the year  Apple  AAPL +211375.6%  and Samsung radically redesigned their flagship smartphones. The Galaxy S8 raised the bar first by cutting away its bezels and elongating its display. Apple responded with the iPhone X which, yes, cutaway its bezels and  elongated the display . The differences have never been smaller, but look closely and they have also never been further apart. Apple, Samsung iPhone X (left) vs Galaxy S8 (right) Displays - Samsung A Notch Above Apple and Samsung both adopted much bigger displays this year and the former even had its displays made by the latter. Yes, this is already getting messy: Galaxy S8 - 5.8-inch Super AMOLED, 2960 x 1440 pixels (570 ppi pixel density), 1000 nits, 83.6% screen-to-body ratio iPhone X - 5.8-inch 18.5:9 True Tone OLED, 2436 x 1125 pixels (458 ppi), 625 nits, 82.9%, screen-to-body ratio After years of Samsung’s OLEDs trouncing Apple’s ageing and low resolution LCD panels, the

My Principal Of Life

My Principal Of Life: To attain the success in your  life , in whatever you dream to accomplish, you must realise that to increase your chances, it will all come down to you and the  principles  you set forth to make your dream a reality. Preparation is the foundation of success. The most prepared person is the one that has the best chances. I believe the key to life is just three things: self-confidence, honesty, and courage. Self-confidence is one of the most important qualities to have in life. In my opinion, if you believe in yourself, you can achieve anything you want to. I first learned this when I started to play Little League baseball a year ago. Hitting was my biggest issue. I started out doing terribly, and I wanted to quit multiple times. My second principle that I carry throughout life is honesty/integrity. Honesty is a quality of a person with good moral values. I believe if you have honesty, then you stay true to yourself which is very important, especially for
